• 29% of young Indigenous Australians are NOT earning or learning compared to 9% of non-Indigenous young people.
• Indigenous children under 5 are more likely to die than non Indigenous children to preventable childhood diseases.
• While Indigenous Australians comprise 2.4 percent of the population, they represent 10 percent of the homeless in Australia.
Not anywhere near good enough.

I'm an indigenous person from the United States. Believe me I understand your situation completely. I lived in your country for 13 years. I have recently returned from a visit to Australia, armed with enough resource material to work on a book which compares your sufferings with ours under British Colonialism, because it is this imperialistic rule that forms the foundation for all our suffering.
